The Pacific is ready to build the future we deserve.
Join us as we use Our Pawa to move the region
beyond fossil fuels, support renewable energy access,
and combat the climate crisis.
For the Pacific to survive the intensifying climate crisis, we need to end the age of fossil fuels. For the Pacific to thrive in the face of this crisis, we need access to safe, affordable and renewable energy.
Our Pawa represents our fight for our islands and our vision for the future we deserve. It is about building a world where Pacific Islanders have the tools they need to make the renewable energy transition work for our communities. It also is about holding our wealthy, fossil fuel-producing neighbours accountable and ensuring that resources are available to those most impacted by it.
In presenting these demands, we acknowledge the Pacific’s strong identity, cultural heritage, and commitment to environmental and social sustainability. The transition to renewable energy must be anchored in these values. This is our future, this is Our Pawa!

Join Pacific Islanders in Australia and across the region, in taking back Our Pawa. Tell the Australian government to choose safe, clean and fair renewable energy, and make sure that none of our communities are left behind.
To be a true Pacific neighbour, Australia’s just transition must:
Join Pacific Islanders in Australia and across the region, in taking back Our Pawa.
Our Pawa is our fight for our islands and our vision for the future of our communities. It is our need to see this nation move beyond fossil fuels and our hope to see our communities supported through a just, fair and equitable transition that meets the pace and scale needed to combat the climate crisis and ensure we can thrive wherever our communities reside.
In presenting these demands we recognise the Pacific’s strong identity, cultural heritage, and Indigenous commitment to environmental and social sustainability, and base our transition on these traditional values. What we present are demands that we know impact the livelihoods of our communities both in Australia and in the Pacific, of which Australia is a part of.
350 Pacific is conducting a survey to understand views on renewable energy in Pacific communities. This includes information on energy usage, energy needs, experiences with renewable energy, and any concerns.
Your responses will help us support community renewable energy projects in the Pacific. This survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. We appreciate your time!
